Bay High School is proud to announce that Juliana “Juju” Barragan was named the Florida Association of Student Councils (FASC) Member of the Year at the 2026 state convention, where over 1,400 students networked and collaborated with their peers this past February 20–23 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As 2025-2026 Student Government Association President of Bay High School, Juju has been described by peers and staff as the “glue” of the organization, and as an empathetic, visionary leader who elevates everyone around her . She is the founder of “Flow With Confidence,” a student-led initiative that provides free menstrual products in every bathroom at Bay High’s Title I campus, and she has spearheaded large-scale events such as Homecoming while also advocating for student voice at the district and state levels .

In addition to her school service, Juju maintains an outstanding academic record as an AICE Diploma candidate, balances varsity athletics, and has earned recognition including the 2025 Gold Medallion Award for her leadership . Her impact spans local, state, and even global communities as a Chautauqua mentor, and she embodies the very mission of our student government, FASC and she represents Bay High with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
